hi, i'm Kathleen, and i'm kind of a bit of a late bloomer to makeup, but i'm having tons of fun while i'm playing with it all! come follow me as i share my thoughts, tips, and tricks through my new obsession & hobby! thanks! :)
after visiting my local Sally Beauty, i finally found the lip gloss that Tracy & Stef/eleventhgorgeous teamed up with Palladio to make!
it is such a nice pink lip gloss and it smells so delicious (vanilla). i actually picked up a couple more for a potential future giveaway. :)
sorry for uploading so many pre-recorded videos this week... i checked and i uploaded 3 this week! i've not been in the mood to put on makeup this week or do other makeup-related videos... but i'll try to upload all new videos until i leave on vacation... which can't come soon enough!
so i hope you have a good weekend and i'll be back tomorrow with another video! xoxo Kathleen
this is another pre-recorded video from March... i'm going to try to upload the rest of the videos that i recorded in March really soon because they're already over a month old! yikes! this is what happens when i record too many videos at once and then only upload once a day. i just don't want to spam your subscription box!
after this video, i think i've only purchased 2 more nail polishes in the last month... can you believe that? i believe i already showed them, but i might not have... i can't remember what videos have already been recorded and not uploaded... so you'll eventually see them... and the only new nail polishes i'll purchase will be the ones from Hello Kitty at Sephora and possibly any high end dupes from Revlon. Revlon is so good at releasing dupes! i think i have 4 of them already but not all of them...
but yeah, this was my last biggest nail polish haul... no more hauling like this! the last makeup item i purchased was on the 16th and it was one of the L'Oreal Infallible cream eyeshadows (the black sparkly one). i'm dying to get my hands on the eleventhgorgeous Palladio lipgloss but the last time i checked my local Sally Beauty Supply, they didn't have it. i haven't checked ULTA either... but at least i'm being upfront on what i'm looking to buy... and not just buying in bulk. LOL (that's how i'm justifying my future purchases.) let's see how long that goes... xoxo Kathleen
so i did a little damage yesterday and today but i still didn't go crazy with the makeup. only 2 cream eye shadows and 1 lipstick. :)
i wish we (as non-partners) can choose our own thumbnails... i can't stand the random ones they come up with.
i tried the bun maker and my hair is too layered for it to work! i might have to make my own bun maker because the one i bought at Sally Beauty is a bit too thick. i won't return it because i'm sure i can make it work when my layers grow out. but i wanted to make it work today. oh, well...
also i tried that nail polish remover pad HandsDown Ultra that i found out from Jen/OrganizedLikeJen and wow, it works! i was able to remove all my nail polish with just one pad. it also feels like felt, which is what you need to remove glitter nail polish, too. you can use the foil method, but i think felt is a lot less messier and you don't have to mess with foil and pure acetone. i have a bottle of pure acetone but oh boy, does it stink and not safe to use with my jaggedy cuticles. ouch.
i mentioned yesterday that i was going to talk more about what happened on Sunday but i think i'm going to just make a video of it showing you how i applied the makeup on my friend. it really came out so nice. i wish i took pictures! but the lighting was rather horrible and so it really wouldn't come out true to color. so i'm just going to try to recreate it on myself. she has less lid space than i and hardly a crease so i was actually happy that i was able to make a look on someone who almost has a monolid.
well, i think i'm going to start making dinner... it's just 4:00 but i'm starving and the spaghetti sauce probably won't be ready for another hour to two. see you tomorrow! xoxo Kathleen
